Selection details
- Resin or binder, pigment loading and processing temperature, including residence time.
- Target shade, full-shade or reduction use, and opacity or transparency requirements.
- Dispersion method and required light fastness, weathering or migration performance.
- End use, destination market and any customer-specific substance restrictions.
Documents and test conditions
Request the TDS and SDS for the proposed grade, plus any available application test data and documents required for your intended market. Confirm suitability in your formulation before approval.
The A-D TDS light-fastness and weathering data use an alkyd melamine test system; their heat-resistance ratings are measured at 200°C for 10 minutes. These conditions do not establish a processing limit for every polymer or grade.
